Terms of Service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Ricardo H. Loza, trading as Saint Michael's First Responder Training ("we", "us"). By using this website or booking a class, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide in-person CPR, first aid and first responder certification classes in the San Francisco Bay Area, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stop the Bleed and related courses. Course content, dates and availability may change.
Bookings and eligibility
You must be at least 18 or have permission from a parent or guardian, and give accurate information when booking. If you book on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so. Certification is issued only on successful completion of the course requirements.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site or classes for any unlawful purpose or fraud.
- Do not send spam or impersonate others.
- Do not copy or redistribute our course materials, branding or content without permission.
- Do not interfere with the site's security, including malware, probing or scraping.
- Follow instructor safety directions during hands-on training.
Intellectual property
We own this website, our logo, branding and our own course materials. Certification program materials remain the property of their respective organizations.
Service availability
We do not guarantee the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may reschedule or cancel a class (for example due to low enrollment or instructor illness); you will be offered another date or a refund.
Suspension
We may refuse or cancel bookings or access for breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or unsafe or disruptive conduct in class.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the class. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
